Amid volatility in the energy industry and global economic transition, Mr. Sinon has led Banpu’s organizational transformation by setting a clear growth direction toward 2030 through the Energy Symphonics strategy. The strategy focuses on integrating a diverse energy portfolio, leveraging technology and innovation to create a sustainable energy ecosystem, enhance competitiveness, and drive sustainable growth. Currently, the strategy has entered its second phase, marked by the restructuring of the Group’s business portfolio to unlock long-term value and capture new growth opportunities.
In addition, Mr. Sinon has driven investments in future energy businesses, including Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Sequestration (CCUS) projects and battery energy storage systems, as well as the expansion into energy solutions linked to data centers. These initiatives reflect his forward-looking vision in capitalizing on global megatrends, particularly the rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital infrastructure, which are driving rising energy demand, while underscoring his strong commitment to leading Banpu in reducing greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1 and 2 by more than 20% by 2030 to meet future energy needs.
