Maxim Thailand launches a supplementary income program for legal drivers

7

Mitihoon — In line with the government decree for the legalization of public transport vehicles, Maxim Thailand is pleased to announce the launch of a new daily program for partner drivers who want to earn extra money and have fully registered their vehicles in compliance with the law.  The program is rolled out in phases, starting in Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen on 4 February 2026. It aims to motivate drivers and increase earnings for those providing services legally and at full capacity.

The program applies to drivers who got RY17 and RY18 registrations. These partner-drivers can get a daily bonus that provides them extra income in dependence on their number of completed orders. Bonuses will be credited daily to the driver’s account in the Taxsee Driver app. Drivers are given the flexibility to use this bonus to pay for service commissions within the app, thereby reducing operational costs, or to receive it via a monthly bank transfer.

For drivers still in the process of transitioning their vehicle registration, Maxim Thailand provides comprehensive support at every stage—from information and document preparation to offering accessible vehicle insurance—to ensure a smooth and compliant registration process.

Currently, drivers can register for Ride Sharing through the Electronic Transactions Development Agency’s (ETDA) Driver Verify system. This registration helps facilitate the process with the Department of Land Transport (DLT) during the transition period, allowing drivers to prepare in advance before the full legal requirements take effect. This registration period is open until 28 February 2026, ahead of the full implementation of the law on 31 March 2026.

“We are committed to fully cooperating with the relevant authorities to comply with the law, while continuously supporting our partner drivers. This includes providing guidance, advice, and assistance at every stage of registration and service operations, ensuring a smooth process for all parties. Maxim is dedicated to motivating drivers, increasing their earnings, and helping them adapt confidently during this transition period,” said Mr. Pongpath Aksaraworakarn, Managing Director of Maxim Thailand.

Maxim Thailand remains fully committed to supporting partner drivers, promoting  legal compliance, and helping increase earnings, while ensuring drivers can provide safe and sustainable services. Drivers seeking further information or assistance can contact Maxim directly through the Taxsee Driver app or other official communication channels.

Full information for drivers is available within the Taxsee Driver app.
