Mitihoon – PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) participated in the Offshore Technology Conference Asia or OTC Asia 2026, a biennial international conference and exhibition that brings together energy professionals to exchange knowledge and showcase technologies for offshore energy in the Asia–Pacific region. The event was held from March 31 to April 2, 2026, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the theme “Excellence in Asia | Advancing Energy Responsibly.” Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul, Chief Executive Officer of PTTEP, spoke on the topic “Advancing Energy Responsibly: Stewardship Across the Value Chain,” where he shared his vision and exchanged perspectives with energy industry leaders from various countries on driving responsible energy development across the value chain. PTTEP executives also took part in various panel sessions, sharing insights on leveraging technology and innovation to enhance offshore operational efficiency while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Additionally, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, honored PTTEP with a visit to the company’s exhibition stand. PTTEP presented its operations and growth strategy, covering more than 50 petroleum exploration and production projects in over 10 countries—highlighting Malaysia as a key investment base. The company also showcased its Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project at the Arthit gas field in the Gulf of Thailand, which aims to reduce emissions from petroleum production and support progress toward achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, PTTEP featured digital solutions under the DigitalX project that support exploration and production processes—such as DORA (Drilling Operation Real-Time Analyses), a system that supports drilling decisions with real-time data and predictive insights, and IOCC (Integrated Operations Control Center), a centralized hub that connects operational data from natural gas fields in the Gulf of Thailand. These technologies help enhance efficiency, reduce downtime and costs, and improve safety.
