Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. joined the energy conservation network “Energy Beyond Standards 2026,” reinforcing its effort to improve energy efficiency and lower carbon intensity of its operations. Representing the company, Mr. Surat Thurachen, Vice President, Assets and NOJV, received the Energy Beyond Standards declaration certificate from Mr. Akanat Promphan, Minister of Energy, together with Dr. Prasert Sinsukprasert, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Ms. Nantika Thangsuphanich, Director-General, Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency during the Energy Beyond Standards 2026 declaration ceremony organized by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy.
Taking part in the “Energy Beyond Standards 2026” network reflects Chevron’s efforts to implement energy conservation measures, improve energy efficiency, and conduct its business responsibly. Chevron focuses on leveraging technologies and enhancing operations and processes to help reduce the carbon intensity of its operations, including Thailand’s first Integrated Operations Center and total wellhead platform reuse. These efforts support the company’s aspiration to provide safe, reliable, and ever-cleaner energy while helping support Thailand’s energy security.
