Mitihoon – As flooding affects many parts of Bangkok and nearby provinces, Bangchak Group is helping affected communities by delivering drinking water and dry food, providing fuel and fuel cards to agencies and volunteer teams engaged in relief efforts, making space available at Bangchak service stations for people to park their vehicles, and sharing useful information through its communication channels.
Bangchak Group has provided fuel for vehicles and machinery used in flood relief operations in the Bang Kapi area, following a request coordinated by the Department of Energy Business, Ministry of Energy. This support helps officials and other agencies continue their work without interruption. The Group has also provided fuel cards to volunteer teams and organizations, including the Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation, the Thai Red Cross Society, Phramongkutklao Hospital for its Ambulance Truck operations in the affected area, the Asa Dusit volunteer team, and the Jai Thueng Jai Khon Thai Mai Thing Kan group. Bangchak service stations have also made space available for people to park their vehicles, while the Group has shared information on parking locations, water levels, rainfall forecasts, and traffic routes.
Bangchak Group has also delivered drinking water to support relief efforts through the Samut Prakan Provincial Red Cross Chapter; Bang Pla Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Samut Prakan; King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang; Wat Rat Burana; the Chai Nat Provincial Cooperative Office; Thung Wat Sing Cooperative in Chai Nat; Wat Sala Pun in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya; and Sena Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. The Group has also provided dry food for relief packages for residents of Phra Khanong District through the Phra Khanong District Office.
On 28 September, Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, was joined by Bangchak executives and employees in handing over drinking water to the Samut Prakan Provincial Red Cross Chapter. Mr. Prateep Nateetaweewat, Deputy Governor of Samut Prakan, and Ms. Orawan Chinsri, President of the Samut Prakan Provincial Red Cross Chapter, received the donation.
