As one of priorities, the Bank has launched “TangLuk” relief program to support customers affected by the recent flooding.

Bangkok, 20 October 2026 — TMBThanachart Bank Public Company Limited (ttb) and its subsidiaries reported a net profit of THB 5,457 million in 3Q26, bringing 9M26 net profit to THB 16,139 million. Asset quality remained well-contained, with the NPL ratio declining to 2.88%. While the impact of the recent flooding is expected to be limited, the Bank has provided additional provisions as a prudent buffer, strengthening the coverage ratio to 159%. At the same time, the Bank continues to provide assistance to customers affected by the flooding through “TangLuk” relief program.

Mr. Piti Tantakasem, CEO of ttb, said that the Bank’s performance for the first nine months of 2026 remained in line with targets. The 3Q26 results reflected progress across three key priorities: sustaining earnings momentum, maintaining asset quality while supporting customers affected by the recent flooding, and building long-term revenue growth.

‘Sustaining earnings performance in line with targets’ ttb continued to emphasize quality loan growth while mitigating the impact of the low-interest rate environment by expanding higher-yield retail lending and proactively optimizing funding costs to defend margins. As a result, 3Q26 net interest income gradually improved from the second quarter. Combined with effective operating cost management, this helped sustain pre-provision operating profit (PPOP) at THB 27,524 million for 9M26, relatively stable compared with THB 27,476 million in the same period last year.

‘Asset quality remained stable’ as reflected by NPLs which held steady at approximately THB 39 billion for 8 consecutive quarters. For NPL ratio, the figure was lower to 2.88%, remained within the Bank’s guidance level of 3.2%. In response to the flooding in late 3Q26, the Bank promptly launched “TangLuk” relief program to support affected customers. The program has been open for enrollment since 25 September 2026 and will remain available through 31 December 2026, covering corporate, SME, and retail lending customers. As loans under TangLuk relief program are projected to account for less than 1% of the total loan portfolio, the impact on asset quality is expected to remain limited and manageable. Nevertheless, as a prudent measure, the Bank set up additional Management Overlay provisions to cushion against risks from the flooding as well as broader economic uncertainties. Consequently, the coverage ratio increased to 159%, from 152% at year-end 2025, underscoring the Bank’s strong risk buffer.

‘Building future growth through strengthening Wealth Ecosystem’ During 3Q26, ttb announced strategic partnerships through its subsidiary, ttb wealth securities, with leading financial institutions, DBS Bank and Schroders, to enhance its wealth management capabilities. The Bank also launched My Wealth Feature and partnered with Webull to expand investment access and digital wealth advisory services for mass affluent customers. These initiatives are expected to broaden fee income opportunities while addressing the evolving investment needs of customers across all segments.

Looking ahead to the final quarter, the Bank remains committed to prudent business execution and sustaining earnings performance through proactive management across all key areas, including revenue generation, cost control, and risk management. The Bank will also continue to optimize capital utilization, including the remaining THB 14 billion under its share repurchase program, to maximize long-term value for shareholders.

Importantly, ttb will continue to support government initiatives aimed at addressing household debt and driving responsible lending practices. In August, ttb has launched “ttb pon dee” (ttb risk-based pricing lending solution), building on the earlier “Pay Well, Get More” program. The campaign applies risk-based pricing framework to align lending rates with customer risk profiles, enabling financially disciplined customers to access more favorable borrowing terms. The program covers 4 core products: Cash Your Book, ttb Cash2Go personal loans, Cash Your Home and Refinance Home Loan.

Combining both program, more than 58,600 customers have participated, representing approximately THB 15 billion in loans and generating interest savings of over THB 1.8 billion for customers. Meanwhile, the Bank’s debt consolidation program has attracted more than 86,200 participants, helping reduce customers’ interest burdens by approximately THB 3.4 billion. These initiatives underscore ttb’s commitment to improving the Financial Well-being of Thai people in a sustainable manner.

Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Tier 1 Ratio, at the end of 3Q26, were at healthy levels at 18.8% and 16.8%, respectively. The figures remain one of the top tiers in the banking industry and well above the Bank of Thailand’s minimum requirement for D-SIBs, which is 12.0% for CAR and 9.5% for Tier 1.
