Mitihoon – May 29, 2025 – TrueMove H announced that its Board of Directors has approved the company’s application to participate in the telecom spectrum license auction, in line with the Notification of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission’s (NBTC) Re: criteria and procedures for licensing mobile telecommunications spectrum in the 850 MHz, 1500 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2300 MHz bands. The decision to join the auction followed a thorough analysis and evaluation, which included engaging external consultants to study the investment viability of each spectrum band. The evaluation focused on maximizing customer benefits, ensuring the most efficient use of digital communication, and supporting the development of the industrial, economic, and social sectors while driving the ongoing growth of the country’s digital economy. Accordingly, Mr. Sigve Brekke, Group Chief Executive Officer of True Corporation Plc., along with the management team, has successfully submitted the application to the NBTC to participate in the spectrum auction.

TrueMove H Universal Communication Co., Ltd. has officially submitted the requisite documentation to participate in the auction. Clin. Prof. Dr. Sarana Boonbaichaiyapruck, Chairman of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), along with, Mr. Sutisak Tantayotin, Deputy Secretary-General of NBTC for Telecommunications received the required documents for the qualification review of auction participants. The spectrum auction is scheduled to take place on June 29, 2025.
