Mitihoon – Bangkok, June 16, 2025 – Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited reinforces its commitment to being a “Financial partner who cares at every stage of Thai people’s lives” in line with its core philosophy: “Everyone Matters” as part of this mission, the bank continues to promote financial literacy through its ongoing initiative, “Tang-To Know-how”. Most recently, the bank was honored to join a special panel discussion at the OTOP MIDYEAR 2025 event held on June 10, 2025, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. In the event, Thai Credit Bank shared financial insights under the topic: “Let’s Talk Money Problems – From Family Building to Retirement: How to Solve and Move Forward”, aiming to help people manage their finances wisely and practically.
Mr.Roy Agustinus Gunara, CEO of Thai Credit Bank, said that “Thai Credit Bank is committed to supporting government policies that aim to strengthen the community economy and enhance financial literacy for people at all ages. This aligns with the national strategic plan for human capital development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our bank has actively promoted financial immunity for over eight years, especially among vulnerable groups such as freelance workers, micro-entrepreneurs, and the elderly groups that often face difficulties in financial planning.”
The “Tang-To Know-how” initiative is one of Thai Credit’s signature social programs, designed to “bridge the financial knowledge gap and build a secure future.” It delivers practical and easy-to-understand financial education through discussion forums, hands-on activities, and various financial literacy assessment tools.
Participation in OTOP MIDYEAR 2025 marks another significant milestone in the bank’s role as a community partner. In collaboration with the Department of Community Development (Ministry of Interior), Thai Credit Bank aims to bring financial knowledge to the grassroots level. The OTOP platform is a key economic driver that encourages communities to develop local products, leverage innovation for value creation, and promote Thailand’s soft power on the global stage.
Thai Credit Bank’s involvement goes beyond financial education; it also contributes to fostering community-level economic growth, enhancing the potential of small entrepreneurs nationwide, and supporting national goals for improved quality of life and reduced social inequality. The bank believes that “Financial learning can be fun and accessible anywhere” and its presence at the center stage of OTOP MIDYEAR 2025 underscores the power of collaboration between Thai Credit Bank and the Department of Community Development toward the shared goal of sustainable financial empowerment for all Thai people and communities.
