Mitihoon – TrueMove H Universal Communication has successfully completed the first installment payment for the 2300 MHz spectrum, amounting to 11,646,950,089.88 baht (including VAT), and the first installment for the 1500 MHz spectrum, amounting to 2,489,868,689.88 baht (including VAT). The company has also submitted a letter of guarantee, issued by a financial institution, for the remaining of the spectrum auction payments to the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in accordance with conditions precedent. The spectrum licenses cover a period of 15 years, starting from August 4, 2025.

Following this auction, TrueMove H Universal Communication secured licenses for 70 MHz of 2300 MHz band for 21,770,000,168 baht and 20 MHz of the 1500 MHz band for 4,653,960,168 baht. This positions TrueMove H Universal Communication as Thailand’s operator with the most comprehensive and complete spectrum portfolio, spanning eight frequency bands across low, mid, and high ranges: 700 MHz, 900 MHz, 1500 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2600 MHz, and 26 GHz—supporting continued network modernization and enhanced digital experiences nationwide.
This strategic investment aligns with Thailand’s spectrum management objectives, supporting the development of 5G, AI, and IoT technologies. The 2300 MHz band can deliver both 5G and 4G services by utilizing existing infrastructure and equipment to offer superior speed, coverage, and performance. Meanwhile, the 1500 MHz band represents a new spectrum ideal for future network development, capable of increasing network capacity and download coverage to accommodate rising data usage in both high-density urban areas and rural regions.
