Mitihoon – PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), represented by Mr. Nirandorn Rojanasomsith (left), Executive Vice President, Engineering, Development, and Maintenance Group, presented 2,500,000 baht in funding for the purchase of an X-ray machine at the Royal Thai Navy’s Sea Turtle Conservation Center. The donation was received by Admiral Jirapol Wongwit (right), Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, at the Royal Thai Navy Headquarters, Bangkok.
PTTEP has continuously supported the Royal Thai Navy’s Sea Turtle Conservation Center, located in Sattahip district, Chon Buri province, since 2017 through its “Ocean for Life” strategy. This includes funding for the renovation of office, hatchery, and hospital buildings for sick turtles at the center, along with medical equipment to improve care and treatment for sea turtles prior to their return into the sea—helping to increase their chances of survival. PTTEP has also organized an exhibition and prepared learning kits to help raise public awareness about sea turtle conservation.
