Mitihoon – Mr. Sinon Vongkusolkit, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited, joined the panel discussion on the topic “Economic Game – The Board Capturing Trade Opportunities Amid Geopolitics for Sustainable Victory” at the National Director Conference 2025, organized by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD), held at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.
Mr. Sinon emphasized the strategic importance of the energy sector amid growing geopolitical tensions, stating that nations are increasingly prioritizing energy security while advancing energy solutions aligned with global sustainability trends. He highlighted the energy sector’s pivotal role in decarbonization, as it is the foundation of the industrial value chain. During the session, he also shared Banpu’s approach to developing strong leaders across its countries of operation, aimed at driving organizational agility, enabling timely decision-making, and enhancing the Company’s ability to capture emerging opportunities while mitigating potential risks.
