Mitihoon – Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited has been awarded with the 2025 Human Rights Awards (Good Level) from the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, Ministry of Justice. The award was received on behalf of the Bank by Ms. Krisana Aramkulchai, Director of Thai Credit Bank, from Police Colonel Tawee Sodsong, Minister of Justice. This marks the first year the Bank has achieved this recognition. The award ceremony was held on 22 September 2025, at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel.
Ms. Krisana Aramkulchai, Director of Thai Credit Bank PCL, stated that “This award affirms Thai Credit Bank’s reputation as an organization committed to good corporate governance principles, particularly in advancing human rights and equality. It reflects our strong determination to embed responsible business conduct and implement Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) as a core framework in shaping our policies, making human rights part of our organizational culture. We are dedicated to ensuring fairness, embracing diversity, and protecting the rights of all stakeholders, including employees, partners, contractors, customers, consumers, communities, and vulnerable groups through tangible initiatives.”
Thai Credit Bank has developed key initiatives to promote human rights across multiple dimensions, including:
- EMpower for Employee: Promotes labor rights and workplace equality, reduces employment inequality, supports financial well-being, and fosters genuine employee engagement.
- EMpower for Community: Drives sustainable community development under the concept “The community, for the community”, strengthening self-reliance and ensuring equal access to knowledge and resources.
- Tang To Know-how: Expands access to financial literacy for over 250,000 participants small and micro-entrepreneurs, with an additional 306,530 participants trained online, in collaboration with government agencies, academic institutions, and the private sector.
