Mitihoon — Maxim Thailand has announced its collaboration with Thai TMO Corporation Co., Ltd. (Touch Car Rent) to launch the first “Taxi EV Rental” pilot program in Nakhon Ratchasima. The initiative aims to provide new drivers and existing partner drivers with an additional career option through a cost-effective, flexible EV taxi rental package that comes with comprehensive benefits—supporting modern workstyles and promoting environmentally friendly transportation.
The pilot program introduces 20 electric taxis, enabling new and partner drivers to access high-quality EVs at an affordable rate. All vehicles are legally registered as public passenger vehicles for up to seven passengers (Ror Yor 6), eliminating the need for renters to handle registration themselves. Each vehicle comes with first-class insurance covering both drivers and passengers, along with replacement vehicles in case of unexpected incidents. The daily rental rate is 890 THB.
Those interested in renting an EV taxi (Taxi EV Rental) through Maxim are required to prepare essential documents, including a copy of their national ID card, a public driver’s license, and a professional taxi driver identification card (yellow card). Once all documents are complete, renting an EV taxi is straightforward, thanks to Maxim’s fast and efficient document verification and approval process.
EV taxi renters will enjoy a wide range of benefits, including flexible rental plans, transparent and fair pricing, and special promotions such as “Rent 10 Days, Get 1 Day Free.” Renters also gain early access to new EV models and high-quality vehicles. These advantages help make work more convenient, reduce costs, increase income opportunities, and ensure there are no hidden fees.
