Mitihoon – i-Tail Corporation Public Company Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kasetsart University, marking a new chapter of collaboration to advance research and innovation in pet food nutrition. At the MoU signing ceremony, Mr. Paotep Premchai, Senior Director of Innovation in Pet Research & Development, represented i-Tail Corporation, alongside Prof. Dr. Woraphan Phimpraphai, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
Mr. Paotep Premchai stated that partnering with Kasetsart University reflects i-Tail’s continued commitment to supporting scientific advancement in the pet food sector. “Nutrition is at the heart of pets’ long-term well-being. By joining hands with Kasetsart University, we aim to contribute to research that not only enhances product development but also elevates industry standards and drives innovation both in Thailand and globally.”
Dr. Sisupa Pongsiwat, Nutrition and Technical Innovation Manager, emphasized that this partnership serves as a key platform for advancing collaborative research and academic projects that will support the next wave of veterinary diet innovation. She noted that by combining scientific expertise from both sides, the collaboration is expected to generate new knowledge in pet nutrition, enhancing research capabilities and evidence-based formulation, and contributing to the development of pet food solutions that better address the future health needs of pets. This joint effort will help elevate both academic excellence and the competitiveness of Thailand’s pet food industry.
Under the MoU, i-Tail will support a broad range of initiatives, including nutritional research projects, graduate-level studies, academic seminars, and related collaborative activities. The company will also provide scholarships and research grants, fostering innovation and driving long-term growth within Thailand’s pet food industry through strong academia–industry cooperation.
