Mitihoon – Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. has donated 1,050,500 baht through its annual “Chevron Humankind” program to the Songklanagarind Hospital Foundation to support relief efforts for communities affected by recent flooding in Songkhla. The donation was presented by Mr. Itthiwath Boonsuweeradith, base supervisor, and Mr. Detchana Phinyotrakul, Songkhla Onshore Workshop supervisor, at Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., to Prof. Dr. Rungsan Phuriyanontachai, Director of Songklanagarind Hospital. The funds will help the foundation and relief units procure essential equipment and materials and provide medical care for the growing number of patients, as other hospitals in the province were impacted during and after the floods. This contribution aims to ease the hardship faced by communities affected by this disaster.

This initiative is part of the annual “Chevron Humankind” program, which encourages employees to give back to society by donating to foundations or charitable organizations. Under the program, Chevron matches employee donations at twice the amount of each contribution. In 2025, Chevron provided matching funds to 10 organizations, including the Songklanagarind Hospital Foundation, totaling more than 3.1 million baht. Since its launch in 2015, the program has contributed over 32 million baht to charitable organizations.
