Mitihoon – Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or “FPT” has received an AAA-level SET ESG Rating 2025 from the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). This recognition reaffirms the company’s ongoing commitment to improve the overall Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance of its three core business units: residential, industrial, and commercial.
The development of ‘The Grand Riverfront Ratchapruek-Rama 5′ project in accordance with international green building standards was a key sustainability highlight for FPT this year. The project is the first single-detached house development in Thailand and Southeast Asia to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) v4.1 Gold Certification for Residential Single Family Homes. The residential development features design solutions that meet customers’ needs, whilst incorporating environmental features and innovative technologies that enhance residents’ quality of life.
On the social front, FPT runs the ‘Mitrdonor’ project. Launched in 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, this initiative is a partnership with the National Blood Centre of the Thai Red Cross Society. FPT hosts quarterly blood donation drives at its mixed-use development, Samyan Mitrtown, which contributes to increasing and securing blood reserves for patients nationwide. Open to the public, the programme has expanded to involve other office buildings under FPT’s management, including Sathorn Square, Park Ventures and FYI Center. To date, the initiative has collected and donated 9,585,550 cc of blood to the Thai Red Cross Society. The programme delivered a Social Return on Investment (SROI) of 4.5 times, indicating that every THB 1 invested generates THB 4.5 in social value.
In governance, FPT continues to emphasise risk management and prioritise ethical business practices, considering its impacts on stakeholders across the supply chain. This is evidenced by the company’s 5-star “Excellent” rating for the sixth consecutive year in the Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies (CGR), conducted by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD). Additionally, FPT received the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Award 2024 in the ASEAN Asset Class PLCs category from the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which recognises listed companies in ASEAN that demonstrate strong corporate governance and social and environmental responsibility. FPT is one of 74 Thai listed companies to receive this award.
