The Bank aims to elevate Thailand’s local products to international standards through holistic supports encompassing marketing, knowledge, and capital access. Most recently, the Bank has curated Thailand’s finest OTOP products to serve as premium souvenirs, thereby strengthening community goods and creating widespread visibility.
Driven by the Bank’s vision of enhancing the quality of life for small entrepreneurs, Thai Credit Bank has partnered with local communities to develop the potential of local goods, specifically OTOP products that reflect invaluable community identity and culture. The Bank has recently selected high-quality OTOP products from a pool of over 300 products nationwide to elevate them into exclusive souvenirs for various occasions. The selection includes over 5,000 unique items, including Organic Rice Tea, Designed Placemats and Coasters, Herbal Sprays, and Stainless-steel tableware set.
Thai Credit Bank not only provides product support but also continuously “arming” entrepreneurs with knowledge and financial immunity. This ranges from financial planning and branding through offline and online marketing. This initiative aims to enhance the valuable local wisdom of OTOP entrepreneurs through the Tang To Know-how project. Furthermore, the Bank has developed the “Loans for OTOP” product with the highlight of no collateral or guarantor needed, covering both groups of producers and individual owners to ensure equitable access to formal financial resources and the ability to commercially expand their local wisdom.
