
Mitihoon – B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited, Amata Corporation Public Company Limited, and Sumitomo Corporation Thailand Ltd, a joint venture of Amata B.Grimm Power Co., Ltd., has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTT Global Data Centers, a leading global technology service provider, for a total contracted capacity of 100 megawatts. The project is expected to achieve Commercial Operation Date (COD) in June 2027 and will be located at Amata City Chonburi.
Mr. Nopadej Karnasuta President – Thailand, Malaysia and Energy & Industrial Solutions Business of B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM), stated that this agreement represents the largest PPAs undertaken by the company to date. The project reflects B.Grimm Power’s leadership in delivering large-scale, reliable, and stable clean energy solutions to support industrial growth and digital infrastructure, particularly the rapidly expanding data center sector.
Amata City Chonburi is one of Thailand’s key industrial hubs for data centers and other industrial business including automotive, electronics, and consumer products. The electricity generated from this project will support the rising power demand of advanced manufacturing industries and data centers, reinforcing the estate’s position as a strategic investment base for future technology – and innovation – driven industries.

These SPP partnerships strengthen grid resilience, improve power control and reliability, increased system flexibility, and enable future capacity growth—providing a stable and adaptable energy foundation for Thailand’s growing digital economy.
This PPA with NTT Global Data Centers also aligns with B.Grimm Power’s GreenLeap Strategy, which focuses on diversifying renewable energy assets across geographies and technologies. The strategy supports the company’s ambition to become a global leader in renewable energy, achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, and expand total generating capacity to 10,000 megawatts by 2030.
This milestone builds on an established partnership between Amata B.Grimm Power and NTT Global Data Centers, with Amata B.Grimm Power already supplying electricity to NTT Global Data Centers’s existing data center operations in Thailand. The 100-MW PPA marks the next phase of NTT Global Data Centers’s planned data center campus expansion in Chonburi, supporting long-term scale and future growth.
