TTA Joins Forces with KMITL to Advance Electric Vehicle Innovation and Build a Sustainable Transportation Future for Thailand

Mitihoon – Bangkok, 30 January 2026Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited (TTA), led by Mr. Somchai Apinyanukul, Executive Vice President, Group Human Resources, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic collaboration with the College of Innovation and Industrial Management, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). The agreement was represented by Associate Professor Surapong Siripongdee, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Innovation and Industrial Management.

The objective of this collaboration is to strengthen cooperation between the education sector and industry through the transfer of knowledge and experience in electric vehicle (EV) technology. This includes expertise from P80 Go Company Limited, the importer and distributor of King Long electric pickup trucks in Thailand, which has extensive experience in applying EV solutions in commercial transportation and public transport systems. The partnership aims to enhance human capital capabilities and develop a strong collaborative network between educational institutions and the business sector.

In addition, several private-sector partners have joined the collaboration, including Upstat International Co., Ltd.; Pan Asia Footwear Public Company Limited; OSW Corporation Co., Ltd.; and BGO Trading Limited Partnership.
