Mitihoon – BCPG Public Company Limited (“BCPG”) reported strong core profit of THB 1,807 million in 2025, representing a 61% YoY increase from last year. The major contributors were from higher share of profit from natural gas power plants in the US, as well as the Monsoon Wind Power Project in the Lao PDR, revenue also increased from hydropower plants in the Lao PDR, wind power plants, and the tank terminal in Thailand.

Rawee Boonsinsukh, CEO and President of BCPG Public Company Limited, disclosed operating results of BCPG and its subsidiaries in 2025 with core profit of THB 1,807 million or a significant 61% increase from last year with growth mainly supported by two key projects: higher share of profit from natural gas power plants in the US, benefiting from higher capacity revenue, and the Monsoon Wind Power Project in the Lao PDR, which achieved full commercial operation in 4Q2025.

In addition, revenue from hydropower plants in Lao PDR increased due to higher water volumes and extended rainy season. The tank terminal in Thailand increased from renegotiating of certain storage tanks lease contracts. In addition, wind power plants in Thailand benefited from higher wind speeds, contributing positively to the Group’s overall performance.

The Group reported profit attributable to owners of parent at THB 855 million, a 53% decrease YoY, mainly the recognition of losses from special items totaling THB 952 million, primarily from impairment of assets in wind power projects in the Philippines and foreign exchange losses.

“We continue to operate with prudence while strengthening our ESG performance in line with global standards. Being named to the ESG 100 for eight consecutive years, along with receiving an Outstanding Role Model Organization in Human Rights from Human Rights Awards 2025, reflects our strong commitment to environmental, social, and governance principles.

We are confident in our growth potential, particularly in the U.S., where rising energy demand driven by AI and data center expansion provides strong support for our power generation business. At the same time, we are advancing key projects in the CLMV region, notably the Monsoon Project in Lao PDR, the largest wind power plant in Southeast Asia, which will generate long-term revenue and support the region’s clean energy transition,” said Rawee.
