Mitihoon – Following the ongoing unrest in the Middle East, which has affected several areas, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) would like to inform that we are closely monitoring the situation and placing the highest priority on the safety of our employees. The company has evacuated personnel from high-risk areas in accordance with the company’s security protocols and advisory of Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The company has a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in place to manage business operations during such uncertainties.
With regard to petroleum exploration and production operations in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, all activities continue without interruption at this time.
For Thailand, the company has undertaken preparatory measures to support the Ministry of Energy’s policy in maintaining the continuity of domestic petroleum supply and safeguarding national energy security. These measures include maximizing natural gas production in the Gulf of Thailand and adjusting the schedule of planned maintenance shutdowns to mitigate potential impacts on Thai people and industrial sectors.
The company will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates should there be any significant developments.
