Mitihoon – Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited has joined forces with its strategic partners to advance financial literacy and instill a strong savings discipline across Thai society. The Bank recently participated in the “52nd Anniversary Saving Fair: Community Capital Driving the Grassroots Economy,” organized by the Community Development Department (CDD) on March 9, 2026, at the Government Complex, Chaeng Watthana. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Warong Saengmuang, Deputy Director-General of the Community Development Department, who also visited the Bank’s “Financial Knowledge” booth to observe its ongoing mission in strengthening the foundation of the national economy.
On this occasion, Thai Credit Bank’s leadership team led by Ms. Khemruthai Asavanon, Senior VP of the Micro Economic Development Department, Ms. Ratinan Wongwatcharanon, VP of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, and team. The team conducted interactive sessions on simplified financial management and practical money-saving techniques, emphasizing that strong financial discipline serves as the essential starting point for sustainable growth from the household level to the wider community. This initiative aligns with the Bank’s core philosophy that a solid financial base is the prerequisite for long-term wealth and stability for all citizens.
This successful participation marks over 6 years of continuous collaboration between Thai Credit Bank and the CDD through the “Tang To Know-how” project. To date, the program has conducted 47 training sessions specifically for production savings groups, reaching 1,964 participants, alongside 198 additional sessions for other CDD-affiliated agencies. These combined efforts have successfully built financial resilience for a cumulative total of 11,654 individuals. Thai Credit Bank remains committed to expanding its financial education programs as a steadfast partner in fostering a robust culture of saving and enhancing the quality of life for Thais nationwide.
