Mitihoon — Yongyut Setthawiwat, Managing Director, Group Treasurer, Thai Union Group PCL, received the Best Sustainability Finance Bond award at The Asset Triple A Awards for Sustainable Finance 2026. The ceremony, organized by The Asset—a leading financial magazine in Asia—was held at the Four Seasons Hong Kong. The award recognizes Thai Union’s landmark THB 9 billion bond issuance—marking the first time a Thai company has integrated both blue and sustainability-linked features in a single offering.
This innovative deal, which was oversubscribed by nearly four times, contributed to Thai Union surpassing its 2025 blue finance target and securing a total of THB 24 billion in sustainable financing. These financing instruments are closely linked to the company’s SeaChange® 2030 strategy, supporting key sustainability objectives such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, advancing responsible aquaculture, and funding ocean-focused projects.
