Mitihoon – CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, operator of the “Makro-Lotus’s” wholesale and retail business, shared its vision at the Business Accelerator Gen 8 program under the topic “The Role of Modern Trade in Helping SMEs,” organized by the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand. Ms. Siriporn Dechsingha, Chief Corporate Sustainability and Communication Officer, served as a speaker to share knowledge with program participants.
During the event, the role of CP AXTRA in continuously supporting farmers and small entrepreneurs who are trading partners with Makro and Lotus’s was presented, covering product procurement and the transfer of knowledge on trading with modern trade to SME producers. The company also has an “Opportunity Platform” that allows SMEs and farmers to present their products anytime, anywhere. In addition, the company collaborates with the Department of Business Development on the “Thai Help Thai: Franchise for Career Plus” project, providing prime locations at over 2,000 Makro-Lotus’s branches, totaling more than 10,000 points nationwide.
This participation reaffirms CP AXTRA’s role in supporting farmers and small entrepreneurs toward sustainable business opportunities, while elevating Thailand’s wholesale-retail business standards to a global level and creating sustainable value for all stakeholders.
