Mitihoon – SCB and PTT Celebrate Landmark 25-Year USD/THB Cross Currency Swap Longest-Tenor Transaction Ever Executed by a Thai Corporate, Advancing Sustainable Financial Market Standards
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), represented by Mr. Tanapot Parksuwan, Chief Corporate and Institutional Banking Officer, and PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), represented by Ms. Pattaralada Sa-Ngasang, Chief Financial Officer, have entered into a USD/THB Cross Currency Swap (CCS) transaction with a notional value of USD 48 million and a tenor of 25 years. This marks the longest-tenor CCS transaction ever executed by a Thai corporate organization.
The transaction structure was specifically designed to meet PTT’s financing and risk management requirements and also serves as part of the celebration of PTT’s 48th anniversary. This achievement reflects the strong financial innovation capabilities of both organizations in leveraging derivative instruments to enhance long-term foreign exchange and interest rate risk management.
