Looking ahead, Mc Group has outlined its FY2027 strategy, with a focus on accelerating online growth, expanding its customer base among younger generations, and creating new opportunities for continued growth.
Matthew Kichodhan, Chief Executive Officer of Mc Group Public Company Limited, or “MC,” a retail company specializing in fashion and lifestyle products under the “Mc Jeans” brand, disclosed the Company’s operating results for fiscal year 2026 (1st July 2025 – 30th June 2026), noting that the Company continued to deliver growth despite ongoing economic uncertainty driven by geopolitical conflicts, political developments, and other global events. These factors have affected consumer confidence and purchasing power. For fiscal year 2026, Mc Group generated total sales revenue of 4.402 billion Baht, representing a 6% increase, or 250 million Baht, from 4.152 billion Baht in the previous fiscal year.
Sales through online channels (E-Commerce) grew significantly by 61.8%, reaching a record high of 1.152 billion Baht. As a result, online sales accounted for 26% of total revenue, up from 17% in the previous year. This strong growth was driven by the Company’s ability to adapt to evolving consumer behavior, its expansion across a broad range of online sales platforms, and its continued leadership on TikTok, where it remains the top-performing brand in terms of sales.
Meanwhile, revenue from the Company’s own retail stores (Free-standing Shops) amounted to 2.474 billion Baht, a decrease of 192 million Baht, or 7.2%, while revenue from department stores amounted to 684 million Baht, down 21 million Baht, or 3%. The decline was primarily attributable to challenging economic conditions and weaker consumer purchasing power.
Despite the decline in revenue from certain sales channels, the Company maintained profitability and a healthy gross profit margin. Gross profit amounted to 2.810 billion Baht, an increase of 55 million Baht, or 5.8%, compared with the previous year, while the gross profit margin remained strong at 63.8%, broadly in line with 63.9% in the previous year. This performance was supported by effective management of sales channels and promotional activities aimed at stimulating demand amid the gradual economic recovery. As a result, the Company recorded a net profit of 701 million Baht for FY2026, down 7.8% from 760 million Baht in the previous fiscal year.
The Chief Executive Officer of Mc Group said that the Company continues to maintain a strong financial position. As of 30th June 2026, the Company had cash and cash equivalents of more than 1.983 billion Baht, providing a solid financial foundation to pursue new growth opportunities. Looking ahead, the Company is exploring plans to expand its sales channels into international markets, while also evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and opportunities in related businesses. These initiatives are aimed at expanding the Company’s growth opportunities and supporting sustainable long-term growth.
Mr. Matthew said that the Company generated net profit consistently in every quarter throughout the fiscal year. As a result, the Board of Directors approved a dividend payment of THB 0.36 per share for the second half of FY2026. This brings the total dividend for the full fiscal year to 0.88 baht per share, following the interim dividend payment of 0.52 baht per share for the first half of the fiscal year. The dividend represents a payout ratio of nearly 100% of net profit, equivalent to a dividend yield of 7.59%. The Company will post the XD sign on 4 November 2026.
Mr. Matthew further outlined the Company’s business plan for fiscal year 2027, stating that Mc Group aims to sustain its growth momentum through a key strategy of accelerating its online market expansion to drive sales growth and better meet the needs of younger consumers. This strategy aligns with the Company’s goal of gradually shifting its customer mix toward a higher proportion of Gen Y and Gen Z consumers, from its traditional customer base of Gen X and Gen Y. The Company aims to increase the proportion of Gen Y and Gen Z customers to 80% within the next 3 years, up from the current 68%. At the same time, the Company will continue to leverage AI to analyze customer data and behavioral insights, enabling the development of more targeted campaigns and personalized offerings for its members. The Company’s membership base has increased to 1.9 million members, up from 1.3 million in the previous year.
For its offline channels, the Company will focus on retaining its existing customer base while attracting new customers, leveraging more than 50 years of experience and a comprehensive operational infrastructure. These resources include an extensive network of sales points spanning both online and offline channels, a specialized manufacturing facility, and its own distribution center. The Company will continue to enhance its existing points of sale and improve the management of underperforming locations to increase operational efficiency and profitability. As of the end of June 2026, the Company had a total of 567 points of sale nationwide.
