Mitihoon – [Bangkok – 24 September 2026] – Asia Plus Group Holdings (Asia Plus) has appointed Dr. Kris Panijpan as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026. He succeeds Dr. Kongkiat Opaswongkarn, who is retiring.
Dr Kris assumes the role at a pivotal time for the securities industry. He will strengthen Asia Plus’s core brokerage business, focusing on market leadership, client service, technology and profitability, while accelerating the Group’s expansion in wealth management and more sophisticated investment solutions.
Dr Kris brings extensive experience in investment banking across both local and international institutions. He is the Managing Partner and Co-founder of ARC9 Capital, a leading Southeast Asian private equity firm.
Khun Chali Sophonpanich, Chairman of Asia Plus, said, “Brokerage remains a core business of Asia Plus. Our ambition is to make it an even more competitive, innovative and profitable division, while broadening our wealth management capabilities and offering more sophisticated investment solutions. Dr Kris is well suited to lead both priorities.”
