Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. received two innovation awards at the SPE Thailand E&P Awards 2025/2026, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Thailand to recognize excellence and achievement in Thailand’s petroleum exploration and production industry. Chevron’s Total Wellhead Platform Reuse project was named the winner, while its Asset Retirement Factory project was named second runner-up. The Asset Retirement Factory is a systematic operating model for managing the retirement and removal of petroleum facilities. These projects demonstrate Chevron’s use of technology and innovation to support energy development in the Gulf of Thailand while improving efficiency, optimizing costs and reducing carbon intensity.
