Mitihoon – Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited recently held a ceremony for its 2026 Bangchak Youth Scholarship Program, now in its 22nd consecutive year. The program supports educational opportunities for young people from communities and schools around Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery, as well as athletes from Bangchak Youth Football Club and participants in the Good Youth of Bangchak program. Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications was joined Bangchak executives in presenting the scholarships. Representatives from the Defense Science and Technology Department, school administrators, teachers, community committee members, and youth representatives attended the ceremony at Bangchak’s headquarters.
This year, Bangchak awarded 776 scholarships worth approximately THB 3.5 million to four groups comprising students from 20 educational institutions, from primary school through university, young people from 10 communities and military residential housing, athletes from Bangchak Youth Football Club, and participants in the Good Youth of Bangchak program.
Now in its 22nd year, the Bangchak Youth Scholarship Program reflects Bangchak’s commitment to Sustainable Innovative Business Development in Harmony with the Environment and Society. In addition to expanding educational opportunities, Bangchak encourages young people to develop their talents in areas that interest them, including music, sports, and the arts. The program also seeks to help them grow into people who are both capable and good, with the knowledge, skills, and sense of social responsibility to use their abilities to benefit others and society in the future.
