Mitihoon – Bangchak Welcomes Analysts and Institutional Investors for HEFA-SPK SAF Production Unit Visit, Shares Insights on Market Outlook and Industry Drivers
Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited welcomed a group of securities analysts and institutional investors to visit the Bangchak Refinery in Phra Khanong and its Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production unit. The group was welcomed by Ms. Phatpuree Chinkulkitnivat, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President, Accounting and Finance Group, and Mr. Anuwat Rungruangrattanagul, Senior Executive Vice President, Refinery Business Group, together with executives from the Bangchak Group.
The program included an overview of refinery operations and a tour of Thailand’s first stand-alone HEFA-SPK SAF production facility, which has a production capacity of 1 million liters per day and is already in commercial operation. Participants also received information on production processes, industry standards, and relevant certifications, highlighting the facility’s readiness to meet growing demand for sustainable aviation fuel while enhancing understanding of Bangchak Group’s refinery and SAF businesses.
During the session, Bangchak’s management shared the Company’s business direction and strategy to build on the strengths of its refining business to become a leader in biofuels through SAF production. SAF is a key fuel for the future, supporting the aviation industry’s transition toward low-carbon energy.
The event also provided an opportunity for analysts and institutional investors to engage in discussions with management and gain deeper insights into industry developments. In addition, Mr. Alvin Chew, an expert from Argus Media, joined the session to share perspectives on the current SAF landscape, market developments, and future trends at both regional and global levels. His insights complemented Bangchak’s business updates and provided participants with a broader understanding of market dynamics and the growth opportunities for the SAF industry in the years ahead.
