Mitihoon – True Corporation Joins Forces with “Boom Panadda” to Deliver Care Bags to Flood-Affected Communities in Bang Nam Priao While Maintaining Network Connectivity
True Corporation continues its “True for Thai People” initiative, standing alongside communities affected by ongoing flooding across several areas. Most recently, True has joined forces with the Do Good Organization Foundation, led by its President, Dr. Panadda “Boom” Wongphudee, to deliver “Care Bags” containing ready-to-eat meals, milk, snacks, drinking water and other essential supplies to residents in Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, where widespread flooding continues to affect local communities. Mr. Chakkrit Urairat, Chief Regulatory and Government Relations Officer of True Corporation Plc., led True employees in handing over the Care Bags to the foundation’s team for distribution to flood-affected residents. Alongside these relief efforts, True has mobilized network engineering teams to closely monitor and maintain base stations and communication networks in flooded areas, enabling people to stay connected, access essential information and coordinate assistance.
Flooding continues to affect several communities across Chachoengsao Province, particularly in Bang Nam Priao and Bang Khla districts, where low-lying areas have experienced flooding in residential neighborhoods, agricultural land and key transportation routes. The Bang Nam Priao–Ongkharak Road has been particularly affected by standing floodwater and strong currents along certain sections, making travel and access to assistance increasingly difficult. These conditions highlight the importance of cooperation across sectors to deliver essential supplies and support to communities still facing disruptions to their daily lives.

Dr. Panadda “Boom” Wongphudee, President of the Do Good Organization Foundation, together with her volunteer teams, has been continuously assisting flood-affected communities across Chachoengsao Province, reaching flooded neighborhoods and delivering essential supplies to residents. She received Care Bags from True Corporation for distribution to affected families in Bang Nam Priao. This collaboration brings together the private sector and an experienced volunteer network with the ability to reach disaster-affected areas, enabling relief supplies to be distributed more widely to communities in need.
Meanwhile, True Corporation continues to strengthen the readiness of its 5G and 4G networks across flood-affected areas. Network engineering teams are closely monitoring water conditions and assessing potential risks to base stations, cell sites, and main and secondary switching centers, with particular attention to low-lying locations and sites near rivers and canals. Additional flood barriers are being installed around switching centers, while generators, batteries and sufficient fuel supplies are being prepared in case the main power supply is temporarily suspended for public safety. Transportation and refueling routes are also being planned according to flood conditions and road accessibility to maintain the continuity of communication services in affected areas.
