Mitohoon – Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), in collaboration with the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), has launched the Future Smart Reduction Bootcamp, an intensive program designed to help manufacturing businesses reduce energy costs and operate more sustainably.The bootcamp introduces participants to Lean Tools for energy management and waste reduction in production processes. It features real-world case studies and insights from experts across public and private sectors. The program was officially launched by Mr. Suparit Mekaroonkamol, Executive Vice President, Business Banking Division L1 at SCB, and Ms. Panita Pongpaibool, Ph.D., Deputy Executive Director of NECTEC.
The Future Smart Reduction Bootcamp aims to equip manufacturers with knowledge of industry economic trends, strategies to minimize waste, and methods to enhance value creation. Participants will explore carbon reduction innovations, calculate their organization’s carbon footprint, and develop feasible projects to reduce energy expenses.
SCB and NECTEC are jointly providing funding and technology support to help entrepreneurs access financing and innovative solutions. SCB offers Sustainable Financing with special interest rates, repayment terms of up to 10 years, and green loans for clean energy vehicles, solar panel installations, wastewater treatment systems, energy-saving equipment, and other efforts to minimize impacts on the environment – all aligned with ESG principles. NECTEC on the other hand introduces the Digital Lean Learning Factory, a simulated factory designed for manufacturers to experiment with Lean-based process improvements and assess their readiness before full-scale implementation.
