Mitihoon – AEON Thailand Foundation, led by Ms. Suporn Wattanavekin (second from left), Chairperson of AEON Thailand Foundation, has granted 12 scholarships totaling 294,000 baht for the 2025 academic year to the Association of Children and Youth for the Peace in the Southernmost Provinces of Thailand, also known as the Luuk Rieang Group. The scholarship contribution was formally received by Ms. Wannakanok Pohitaedaoh (center), President of the association.

This financial support is part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to promoting equal access to quality education for Thai children, particularly those underserved areas. Through the Luuk Rieang Scholarship program, the Foundation aims to provide educational opportunities for youth from families impacted by the Southern Thailand insurgency, including Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat. The scholarships are intended to empower recipients to pursue their studies, grow into responsible citizens, and contribute to national development, as well as support others in their communities. The initiative also reflects the Foundation’s broader mission to sustainably improve quality of life across Thailand, with a strong focus on education and well-being.
