Mitihoon – Bangkok, Thailand – 29 June 2026 – CHERY Group, OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. successfully hosted TECH DAY 2026 at centralwOrld PULSE, 7th–8th Floor, presenting its latest new energy technologies, intelligent parking, intelligent assisted driving, smart cockpit innovation, and localized mobility direction for Thailand.
TECH DAY 2026 marked an important milestone as CHERY Group continues its transition from product-focused market expansion to technology-led brand development. The event demonstrated how CHERY Group’s global technology foundation is being applied to support Thailand’s evolving mobility needs, where customers increasingly seek vehicles that are intelligent, practical, safe, and suitable for real local driving conditions.
At the center of the presentation was CHERY Group’s integrated technology system, built around five core pillars: Mars Architecture, Kunpeng Power, Lingxi Smart Cockpit, Falcon Pilot, and the Galaxy Ecosystem. Together, these technologies support the Group’s long-term development across multiple brands, vehicle types, and energy routes.
A key highlight of TECH DAY 2026 was CHERY Group’s advancement in intelligent parking and intelligent assisted driving under the Falcon Pilot intelligent driving system. In the area of intelligent parking, CHERY Group introduced SIVP – Super Intelligent Valet Parking, an advanced technology designed to make daily urban parking safer, easier, and more convenient.
SIVP is designed to assist the vehicle in recognizing parking scenarios, planning parking routes, and controlling key vehicle movements such as steering, acceleration, braking, and parking maneuvers under defined conditions. This helps reduce driver stress in complex parking environments such as malls, office buildings, condominiums, hospitals, and mixed-use developments, where narrow lanes, limited spaces, ramps, pillars, pedestrians, and heavy traffic flow are common challenges.
Alongside intelligent parking, CHERY Group also highlighted its direction in intelligent assisted driving, focusing on perception, decision-making, safety, and smooth vehicle control. By developing these technologies together, CHERY Group, OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. aims to deliver a more complete intelligent mobility experience and provide Thai customers with end-to-end, seamless technology convenience.
Thailand is positioned as one of the first markets for the introduction of these advanced technologies, with the first SIVP-equipped product planned for Q4 2026. SIVP-related intelligent parking functions have already been demonstrated and tested in major Bangkok locations including CentralWorld, One Bangkok, and EmSphere, reflecting CHERY Group’s commitment to adapting global technologies to real Thai usage conditions.
TECH DAY 2026 also introduced CHERY Group’s new energy direction through Kunpeng Power, the Group’s core powertrain technology system. Supporting multiple technology routes including Super PHEV, Super REEV, and Super HEV, Kunpeng Power is designed to address different customer needs, from daily city driving to long-distance travel.
The JAECOO 6T REEV demonstrated how CHERY Group’s new energy technologies can offer Thai customers the comfort and refinement of electric driving while maintaining confidence for longer journeys. In a REEV system, electric motors drive the wheels, while the engine generates electricity when needed to support the battery and motor, helping reduce range anxiety while maintaining a smooth EV-like driving experience.
Beyond vehicle technologies, CHERY Group also presented its broader direction for localized new energy development in Thailand, covering BEV, PHEV, REEV, and future NEV pickup expansion. The Group further introduced energy ecosystem solutions including energy management systems, PV modules, energy storage, inverter systems, and charging solutions, reflecting its ambition to support a more complete and sustainable new energy lifestyle.
