Mitihoon – “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, has joined the network of the Strategic Health Innovation Leadership Program for Medical Tourism in Thailand (SHIMT), an initiative established through collaboration among the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), research and innovation agencies, and Bangkokthonburi University. The program connects leaders from government, healthcare, academia, and business to exchange knowledge and extend professional networks into broader cross-sector collaboration.
Most recently, Ms. Janejit Ladpli, Head of Corporate Affairs and SD Business Integration Division at KTC, in her capacity as a SHIMT member, joined more than 50 fellow network members on a visit to Wat Huay Pla Kang Hospital for Society in Chiang Rai Province. The delegation presented THB 150,000 in financial support, together with 1,000 cups of Thai Royal ice cream, to support the hospital’s medical services and its work in providing care for people in the local community.
The initiative was supported by the Royal Thai Air Force, led by Air Chief Marshal Prapas Sornchaidee, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, together with Flight 416, Wing 41, which coordinated and facilitated the delegation’s visit. The collaboration reflects how different sectors can bring together their respective expertise, networks, and resources to create practical benefits for society.
For KTC, being part of a professional network goes beyond the exchange of knowledge. It also creates opportunities for its people to apply their experience, expertise, and professional relationships in collaboration with different sectors to contribute to society.
This participation is another example of how cross-sector collaboration can turn professional networks into collective action, extending value beyond individuals and organizations to benefit society more broadly.
