Mitihoon – Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Company Limited (“TCRSS”) officially announced the successful merger with Thai Coated Steel Sheet Co., Ltd. (“TCS”), effective 1 October 2025. This milestone underscores the strong collaboration among its joint venture partners, including Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (“SSI”), JFE Steel Corporation (“JFE Steel”), and Marubeni-Itochu Steel Co., Ltd. (“Marubeni-Itochu Steel”), aimed at enhancing TCRSS’s business strength and elevating the competitiveness of Thailand’s steel industry.
The merger goes beyond organizational restructuring; it establishes a strategic foundation for market expansion and the creation of new value for customers, partners, and Thai society. Leveraging synergy across sales, marketing, and production, TCRSS is now able to offer a comprehensive range of products and services, from high-quality cold-rolled steel sheets to coated steel, catering to the automotive, home appliance, and high-standard manufacturing sectors. In addition, the company has a sustainable supply chain development plan, covering operations from upstream to downstream.
