Mitihoon – BANGKOK, September 25, 2026 – The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on September 24, 2026, in New York City, the United States, witnessed by Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul. Under this cooperation, the two exchanges will establish a framework for dual listing, as well as product and index development.
SET President Asadej Kongsiri said the MOU covers cooperation in five areas: 1) dual listings; 2) the development and cross-listing of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs); 3) market data and index products; 4) ESG product and service development; and 5) the exchange of information and knowledge between the two exchanges.
“This collaboration will deepen connections between the business and investment communities in Thailand and the United States, creating new fundraising opportunities for Thai listed companies through access to global investors and sources of capital. At the same time, it will broaden foreign investors’ access to investment opportunities in Thailand and expand fundraising options for foreign companies investing in Thailand, in line with the BOI to IPO initiative. This reflects SET’s commitment to enhancing the competitiveness and accessibility of Thailand’s capital market, in line with its vision, ‘The Trusted Gateway to Inclusive Opportunities.’” said Asadej.
The New York Stock Exchange Head of Strategic Operations and Corporate Affairs Will Goodwin said: “NYSE has a long and valued relationship with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and this MOU marks an important next step, deepening the ties between our two markets and creating new opportunities for issuers and investors. We look forward to working closely with SET to support the long-term growth of Thailand’s capital markets.”
The collaboration between SET and NYSE dates back to 1992, centering on market surveillance. Over more than three decades, the relationship has continued to grow, expanding in scope and culminating in this latest agreement.
